Earlier this year I had the pleasure of presenting a work at the You Are Here Festival in Canberra as well as participating in a number of other events. My event, Pieces For Cars Tunnel and Hexagonal Vents was a series of site-specific pieces by Canberra composers played out of car speakers into a parking lot. The audience were on a terrace above the tunnel listening through vents, each vent was closer in proximity to a different car and as a result the pieces all became spatialised.
The program of the event was:
Benjamin Drury – Finite part 1
Benjamin Harb – Gibran 1
Chloe Hobbs – Just One Sentence
Reuben Ingall – Hills
Charles Martin – Disconnected Disco
Benjamin Drury – Finite part 2
