This piece consists of 4 pre-recorded electronic parts made of altered string instruments and found sounds (mostly clocks and car washes). The electronic parts are then played back through car speaker systems into a large underground car park. A quadraphonic microphone was used to capture the sounds of the cars and the music coming from them. The final piece of music is a mixture of the original sounds, the sounds of the cars and the effect of the car park as an acoustic space. The piece was premiered in quadraphonic sound at a Lunchbox concert at the ANU School of Music Big band room, featuring works by David Worrall and students who had been working with him.
